Our weekly zoom gatherings will involve techniques, meditation and mantra to bring more peace and light into your lives. It will be an experiential gathering. There may be some discussion and sharing but mostly, I want to guide you through some techniques to promote balance of mind, body and spirit. When our chakras and our mind are balanced, elevated and blossoming like a lotus flower, we feel strong, morally integrated and peaceful to live our lives fully!

A couple things to allow your experience to be more centered and meaningful.
-
Do not eat right before we practice. The body and mind will move towards digesting the food you just ate instead of being quiet and allowing for awareness of our subtle bodies. If you really need to eat something before, let it be something easily digestible and light.
-
Most of the techniques we practice are on this website, so try to use our time together being in the moment with yourself and experiencing the practices.
-
Create a nice environment for our time together. A place you like to spend time and you can let go or external noises. Have your place of sitting arraigned for comfort and also spine alignment.
-
KISMIF Keep it simple, make it fun. Just come, tune in and enjoy the effects of our practice together.

Monthly Workshop Style SR teachings will be held on Sunday afternoons from 2 to 4 pm

Sunday May 3, 2026 Somatic Workshop 2-4 pm

Somatic movements are gentle movements done while linking our breath and our brain in order to retrain our muscles to relax and return to their earlier lengthened and relaxed state. Chronic pain is often linked to chronic muscle tension and contraction. An example: here is Minnesota in the bitter cold of the winter, people tend to walk around with their shoulders lifted near their ears or in other words, body contracted to ward off some of the cold. If this is done frequently enough, the muscles of the neck, chest and shoulder remain contracted and then you have all kinds of issues related to shoulder pain, neck pain, ect. The body after awhile of being contracted thinks this is normal and develops harmful habits that cause chronic pain. That is where somatic movements come it. We can retrain the brain into letting those contracted muscles release, lengthen and give more freedom of movement again through movements done with mindfulness and awareness. I have taught many somatic classes but have not taught one on Zoom, so it important that you attend this first class to get a few basic movements with the breath to a place of ease. Then the follow up Somatic classes will be more playful and relaxed.

Please email me with any questions or concerns you may have, I am happy to chat with you, and please show up for the 2 hour hands experiential workshop. Some important tips to make your experience pleasurable:
-
Please have a quiet space with plenty of room to stretch out onto the floor. If you have a yoga mat, that would be nice to lay on. Do what you need to eliminate distractions such as TV, cell phone, others in the room.
-
Please do not eat 2 hours prior to the workshop. When the belly is full, the brain tends to make use by helping the body digest. We want all available attention and awareness on the movements.
-
Please wear comfortable stretching clothing.
-
Have water available close by in case you need it.
-
Please print out the handouts related to Somatics under the Shared Study Guides Link. There are 2 of them. Please read the Into to Somatics before the workshop. The Cat Stretch will be for your reference on doing the movements on your own.

Sunday May 31, 2026 Beginner Astrology 2-4 pm

Self Study is one of the best ways to grow and evolve. By understanding our natal chart, aka - our proclivities, we have a better understanding of why we move through life the way we do. We can then find acceptance and compassion for the challenges and gifts of our lives. On Sunday afternoon, we will discuss:
-
Your natal chart as your karmic map for this lifetime
-
The planets and what sign they were in when you were born and in what area of the heavens (houses) which translate to the area of your life most affected by the planet in that sign when you were born.
-
How to identify planets that were in aspect (relationship) to other planets when you were born.
-
How the arrangement of the planets in the heavens today influences and transits upon your natal chart.
-
The planets as rulers of the signs and houses of your chart.
-
The ruler of your chart.
Bring your charts, and study guides. On the SR website under Shared Study Guides please have on hand the Rulership Study Guide and the Planetary Lessons Study Guide handy. They are in pdf format so you can print them out.

The gathering begins at 2:00 pm.
